About Leslee’s salon

As an avid dog lover, working for many years at a large daycare/boarding facility, I took a private grooming course in 2014. I found the combination of that and my creative side, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from Kutztown University, has helped me understand not only the technical side of grooming but also the aesthetics and balance of a successful groom. I was offered the experience of grooming many sizes and breeds of dogs and also the ability to handle individual temperaments. What I have learned is that someone can be taught to “groom”, but understanding behavior and body language is the number one key to building trust and executing a successful experience for every dog.
